Family Vacay 2 - Legoland!

All of us were excited to check out Legoland. Neil nor I had ever been there and of course the kids hadnt either.

We spent two days there. On the second day they were opening a new exhibit in Miniland - Star Wars!

We basically just went around the park and went on everything that came across our path. The first ride was the Coast Cruise. That took you on a boat ride showcasing their Lego creations. One section took you through part of Miniland and we got to see lots of National and International monuments.

Haven got to ride almost everything but there were a few exceptions. Neil and Justus got to do the Lego Technic coaster. I think thats the fastest/biggest one at the park. It looked super fun!
We did all the rides in Land of Adventure and then made our way to Castle Hill. This was just a fun place. The kids got to ride their own horse - No adults!
Neil made sure we got wet in Pirate Shores. One ride (Splash Battle) was fun, but oh my, it sure soaked me!
Then into Fun Town. Here there were Lego cars to race, airplanes to ride and helicopters to lift off. The Lego cars were by far one of Justus favorites. With the cars, there is a side for 3-5 year old and a side for 6-12 year olds that is much bigger. J was a little disappointed that he couldnt do the big one but still really loved driving.





Justus really wanted to do a ride where we got in either a police truck or fire truck and race. The catch is it is hand pumped by whoever is in the truck so Neil and I definitely got our workout for that ride. Then we had to get out and squirt water through a window to "put out a fire" get back into the truck, pump our way back to the beginning and try to be first. It sure was fun team work!

Then the kids played in Duplo Village. They ran around and had a good time playing. Also there were more rides to ride.







We did a few more rides in Dino Island.
It was a full day. We went and checked out where the Star Wars exhibit would be and we also saw the people working on the Star Wars sand sculpture.
Haven and I also found a fun mini in Miniland

Then it was back to the hotel for our free dinner. Our hotel was great because it served free breakfast and dinner - all out and yummy. Sure did help us on our budgeting.

Got our rest and got ready for our last day of Vacay!
