At least once a year we try to go with my sis and her family to the beach. My kids love being with my nieces and we just love the all around family time.
We got there around 10:30 - when things were still pretty calm and parking places werent so hard to come by. It was still a little cool and windy but it ended up being a very pretty day.
The kids played lots and then when my sis came and the fam came they played even more. We had another family join us as well that are good friends with my sis & bro and actually Neil and I have known them for quite some time too.
They took a break for lunch and then again for snow cones.

Our family took off around 3 to go check into the hotel and clean up for dinner. We headed into Pismo for dinner at McLintocks and then some time on the pier.
The next morning we headed up the 1 - just enjoying the beautiful day. We ended up at the Hearst Castle visitors center and spent a little time stretching our legs before coming home.
